Most mobile security tools ask you to trust a remote service with your traffic. KotSafe takes the opposite approach: every decision is made on your device, under rules you control, with source code you can read.
What we stand for
Private by design
No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry. Traffic analysis and AI models run locally.
Open by default
GPL-3.0 licensed. The engine, the app and the build process are public on GitHub.
No root needed
Built on Android's VPN service, so protection works on stock, unmodified phones.
What KotSafe does
- Per-app firewall for Wi-Fi and mobile data, with emergency lockdown.
- DNS sinkhole with DoH and DNSCrypt support.
- Offline AI assistant that explains connections and threats on-device.
- Encrypted P2P mesh and SOCKS5 chaining for routes you control.
- Packet inspection with PCAP export for Wireshark.
- Antivirus shield scanner with Quick, Full and Deep modes.
