Privacy Policy

Summary

KotSafe has no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry. The app analyses your traffic on your device and does not send it to us.

Local processing. Firewall rules, DNS checks, scans and AI models run on your phone.
Local storage. Logs, blocklists and any PCAP exports stay on your device under your control. You can delete them at any time.
Optional cloud AI. Only if you add your own API key, the text you send to the assistant goes to the provider you chose, under that provider's privacy policy.
HTTPS inspection. This is optional, uses a certificate you install yourself, and can be removed in Android settings.

No advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
Web fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and reliability.

APKs are served by GitHub. GitHub's own privacy statement applies when you visit or download from it.

If you email us or join a waitlist, we use your details only to reply and to share updates you asked for. We do not sell or share them.

KotSafe is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
